Where are they now? Updates on the Giants' free agent departures

Hankins was the Giants' biggest free-agent departure. The defensive tackle signed a three-year, $27 million contract with the Colts in April. The Colts will pay Hankins $10 million this year and then can cut the 25-year-old after the season with no financial repercussions. The Giants replaced Hankins by picking Alabama defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson in the second round.

Victor Cruz

The Giants cut Cruz in February to clear $7.5 million in cap space. Cruz remained on the market until signing a one-year, $2 million contract with the Bears in late May. The belief is that the Giants made a major upgrade by signing Brandon Marshall to replace Cruz.
