Here are three things to watch for in the Giants’ final preseason game on Thursday. They face the Patriots.
1. Young offensive linemen Brian Mihalik, Nick Gates, Chad Slade and Victor Salako will all get plenty of work in this game. With Chad Wheeler out with a back injury and rookie George Asafo-Adjei missing so much time in concussion protocol, a surprise player will make the roster here.
2. The third tight end spot after Evan Engram and Rhett Ellison is in the hands of Scott Simonson. Rookie C.J. Conrad has done enough to warrant a spot on the practice squad.
