LONDON — Giants rookie cornerback Eli Apple is an awkward position.
Apple's mother, Annie, has been highly critical of Giants co-owner John Mara's handling of the Josh Brown domestic violence situation.
So, does Apple side with his mother or his boss?
"I know she's very vocal about that type of situation and that topic is very important to her, so I can understand where she was coming from," Apple said after the Giants' 17-10 win over the Rams at Twickenham Stadium. "At the same time, I know in my position I've just got to understand that I've just got to do my part and just play football and do what I can do.
