CINCINNATI — One of Giants’ the youngest players not only wants to see more from the team on defense — but he wants to hear more as well.
“Just consistency, you know, coming out strong,’’ rookie defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence said. “We kind of came out not loud enough last week. But just coming out strong and being consistent throughout the whole game.’’
The only loud aspect to the Giants’ defense this summer is the chatter from outside as to how bad this unit might be this season. In training camp, the group has mostly remained healthy and appears to be in sync, no easy assignment with all the new moving parts.
