EAST RUTHERFORD -- Orleans Darkwa was a full participant at practice on Wednesday. That doesn't sound like much, but it is.
The fan favorite finally enjoyed his breakout game in last Sunday's 23-10 Giants upset over the Broncos, rushing for 117 yards on 21 carries, both career-highs. It was a performance that should conclude his long, winding road to becoming the team's featured back. It came after a workload that should have given some pause, considering Darkwa has battled durability and injury concerns in the past.
All good though. Darkwa felt a "good sore" after the game, but it's not lingering.
