Victor Cruz's workload dialed back at Giants training camp

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- By the time the New York Giants were finishing practice on Sunday, wide receivers Myles White, Geremy Davis and rookie Sterling Shepard were running with the first-team offense. Odell Beckham Jr. had left after having his left leg cleated and Victor Cruz was mostly standing around watching.

Cruz, who has missed most of the past two seasons because of injuries, participated in his third consecutive training camp practice. But he didn't take a rep Sunday in 11-on-11 drills and only snuck in for a few with the third team in 7-on-7s.
