Vacchiano: Five Giants players who could give Big Blue boost

The Giants’ injury list gets longer by the week, and at this point that’s really nothing new for them. They have been the NFL’s most injured team two years in a row, and they are well on their way to running the streak to three.

They are sweating out the status of nine key players as they get ready for their first practice of the week on Thursday — receivers Odell Beckham (hamstring), Rueben Randle (hamstring) and Victor Cruz (calf); linebackers Jon Beason (concussion), Jonathan Casillas (calf) and Devon Kennard (hamstring); cornerback Prince Amukamara (pectoral muscle); and defensive ends Robert Ayers (hamstring) and George Selvie (calf).
