Two more on Giants defense out indefinitely as worries grow

As if the Giants’ injury woes along the offensive line weren’t bad enough, their defense now is absorbing some blows a week into training camp.

Tom Coughlin revealed linebacker Jameel McClain and safety Nat Berhe are out indefinitely, with McClain sidelined by a pinched nerve in his neck and Berhe by a torn muscle in his calf.

McClain is undergoing a battery of tests, and Coughlin indicated the Giants are being especially cautious with the veteran because of his medical history. McClain missed the final nine games (including playoffs) of the Ravens’ 2012 Super Bowl season with a bruised spinal cord.
