Tiki Barber will be on the sidelines and Tom Coughlin will be in the press box Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
And neither will be representing the Giants, for whom both achieved their greatest NFL success.
Barber will be the sideline analyst for the FOX telecast and Coughlin is returning to the Meadowlands as executive vice president of the Jaguars to face the Giants in the season-opener scheduled for 1 p.m.
Barber played his final three NFL seasons under Coughlin — making the Pro Bowl each year for the first times in his career — but opted for early retirement because he was tired of Coughlin's authoritarian style.
