EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants returned from their bye week without several players. Cornerbacks Janoris Jenkins and Eli Apple and running back Paul Perkins were all excused from Monday's workout, according to coach Ben McAdoo.
All three are expected back when the Giants return to the practice field on Wednesday.
"We had a few guys who were excused for personal reasons," said McAdoo, who declined to detail whether their absences were related to travel issues.
The Giants players had off from Wednesday through Sunday. They were expected back at the facility Monday morning and ran through what offensive lineman Justin Pugh referenced as a "welcome back" practice.
