The time Eli Manning flipped "Elite" question to David Letterman

David Letterman has been on-air for all four of the New York Giants’ Super Bowl seasons.

Now if they win another one, they’ll have to do it without him.

After three decades of broadcasting from New York, the legendary talk show host is retiring with a final taping of Late Night to be aired on Wednesday.

Over the course of his 6,000 broadcasts, the Indianapolis native has welcomed Giants as guests of the show, ranging from Michael Strahan to Frank Gifford, Phil Simms, Lawrence Tynes and, most recently, Eli Manning after winning Super Bowl XLVI.
