Rex Ryan isn’t the only one who predicted Daniel Jones’ success.
Christopher Lamparillo and Michael Jakab of Goshen, New York, applied to trademark “Danny Dimes” for future Jones merchandise, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
The duo filed on Tuesday, Sept. 17, the day Giants coach Pat Shurmur announced Jones as the starter over veteran Eli Manning, per USA Today.
Jones dazzled in his starting debut, leading the Giants to a comeback win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 32-31. The rookie completed 23 of 36 attempts for 336 and four touchdowns, two of them rushing.
