The Giants are pretty bad, but Evan Engram is pretty good

After the 2015, when the New York Giants were trying to decide what to do about the leadership of the organization at coach and GM, Jerry Reese could stand in front of ownership and say “I drafted Odell Beckham Jr.” Now, with the vultures again circling, Reese can stand in front of John Mara and Steve Tisch and say “Guys. I did draft Evan Engram.”

That’s because Engram, the 23rd overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft, is en route to a historically good season for a rookie tight end.

He currently has 34 catches for 412 yards, on pace for 68 catches and 824.
