The practices during training camp are all important. The preseason games are more important, which is why Thursday night’s finale against the Patriots at MetLife Stadium is the last chance for several players to prove they belong on the Giants’ roster.
Two days after the game, the Giants will pare their roster from 90 down to the 53-man limit. With general manager Dave Gettleman and coach Pat Shurmur leading a new regime, there could be plenty of surprises as to who stays and who goes.
Here is The Post’s projection for the initial 53-man Giants roster:
Offense
Quarterbacks (3): Eli Manning, Davis Webb, Kyle Lauletta.
