No roster cuts, no pay checks, no preseason games.
NJ Advance Media asked 12 of the youngest members of the Giants if college football should have preseason games now that even the rookies have had a taste of what the NFL is like in August.
The survey included players who starred at powerhouse college programs where an early-season loss could ruin a season with College Football Playoff expectations and no margin for error.
It also included alums of schools fighting for bowl eligibility on an annual basis — like Rutgers — and a FCS alum whose college seasons were defined by playoff runs.
