The Giants’ cornerbacks make life miserable for opposing wide receivers.
It was obvious last season that the New York Giants have one of the top cornerback groups in the NFL.
Bucky Brooks of the NFL Network decided to rank the top NFL cornerback tandems.
The Giants came in at No. 4. Here’s what Brooks wrote:
4) New York Giants: The G-Men’s return to prominence last season was fueled by defensive play, particularly on the island with Janoris Jenkins and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (and Eli Apple) neutralizing elite receivers. The duo not only blanketed pass catchers with sticky coverage, but they flashed a knack for playmaking with nine interceptions and 39 passes defensed between them.
