In a GQ profile done by Clay Skipper, Baker Mayfield said he couldn’t believe the Giants drafted Daniel Jones No. 6 overall. He added that it blew his mind.
Much has happened since. Jones responded on Tuesday, Mayfield came to his own defense, then Mayfield actually texted Jones to clear the air. Now, it’s come to people’s attention that Giants running back Saquon Barkley actually acted as a mediator in the whole situation.
