Saquon Barkley took time out from running a youth football camp on Saturday to paint an optimistic picture of the future for first-round pick Daniel Jones, and of the 2019 season for the New York Giants.
”Daniel Jones went crazy yesterday in practice. He had himself a day. I believe in him,” Barkley told reporters Saturday, per SNY. “Right now, ‘oh, you’re an awful pick,’ but when he wins two Super Bowls, everyone’s going to be like ‘he was the greatest pick of all time.”
“I know why people may not think (so), but yes,” Barkley said Saturday after being a 3 1/2-hour active participant in his youth football camp at West Essex High School.
