If you were expecting anything different than what you’ve seen out of the New York Giants in week two of the 2019 NFL season, you left disappointed Sunday in another lack-luster performance. Big Blue had a chance to right the horrible wrong that was last week in Dallas, and instead did what most outside the organization expected them to do – they failed.
It’s clear that this Giant defense has zero-shot of being a functional group at this juncture, but the unit actually put a decent amount of heat on Bills quarterback Josh Allen today. The signal caller is going to give even the best defenses fits with his athletic ability, but there is just no excuse to allow him to look the way he did today.
