It took an embarrassing collapse of epic proportions, a subtle postgame jab from his old head coach Sean Payton, and a tweet that absolutely no one saw coming. But it’s here. And after the New York Giants blew a 26–8 fourth-quarter lead to the Denver Broncos in Week 7, Wilson finally stepped out of his PR bubble and hit back.
During his postgame presser, Payton was asked about the Giants' organization and just couldn’t help but throw some shade Wilson's way. He told reporters:
"They found a little spark with that quarterback.
