Watching the Twitter reports of Tuesday's New York Giants-Cincinnati Bengals joint practice, a red flag was raised when reports came out that wide receiver Rueben Randle left practice early and had ice packs on both knees. Now we know why. The fourth-year receiver has knee tendinitis.

The idea that that Randle, 24, has been "dealing with it for a while" perhaps explains why the Giants srecently igned veteran wide receiver James Jones. Not just as insurance for Victor Cruz, but for Randle as well.
