The story of Jason Pierre Paul's fireworks accident over the 4th of July weekend took another turn on Wednesday, with a report that Pierre-Paul had to have a finger amputated following the mishap.

The Giants defensive end has been checked into in a South Florida hospital since Saturday night when he injured his hand in a aforementioned fireworks accident.
Originally, indications around the team had only suffered burns on three fingers and parts of both hands.
