The New York Giants have fired Jason Garrett as offensive coordinator following Monday’s disappointing 30-10 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per a report from the New York Daily News.
Garrett was hired as offensive coordinator when Joe Judge became head coach in 2020. The Giants were 31st in the 32-team NFL in points scored a season ago. After Monday’s game in which they scored only 10 points, their lone touchdown coming on a 5-yard drive after a Buccaneers turnover, they are 25th in the league with an average 18.9 points per game.
