Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News is reporting that the New York Giants are divided on whether they want to move on from head coach Tom Coughlin.
There have been several high-level discussions in the Giants organizations over the last few days about what to do after three straight losing seasons and a fourth straight year out of the playoffs. One team source insisted no final decision has been made and that co-owner John Mara would still prefer not to fire Tom Coughlin.
But the source added there are plenty of people inside the front office who believe a coaching change is necessary.
