New York Giants’ safety Jabrill Peppers had a great season in 2020 and I would imagine that he will build off of that as Big Blue’s defense head into their second season under defensive coordinator Patrick Graham.
Peppers is a versatile player that can play deep in coverage or move into the box and play linebacker in certain packages. Not to mention he can also rush the passer if that’s what he’s asked to do.
Even with second-year safety Xavier McKinney entering his first full NFL season, I don’t think this will hurt Peppers’ snap count. If anything the Giants will use three safeties or I could see McKinney coming in for veteran Logan Ryan in certain situations.
