Paul Perkins is the only running back on the Giants who has started an NFL playoff game. The last time the Giants were in the postseason, he was their main guy in the backfield. It appeared he was going to have a long future here.
That was two and a half years ago, at the end of the 2016 season. Which might as well be decades in football time.
