Eli Manning isn't the only Giants quarterback sitting Thursday against the Patriots.
While Manning never was expected to play in the preseason finale, the Giants also are not expected to play second-stringer Davis Webb, according to a person with knowledge of the information who is not authorized to speak for the team.
The Giants started rookie third-round draft pick Kyle Lauletta for the first time in his career. Lauletta only attempted two passes last week against the Jets, when Manning played the entire first half and was succeeded by Webb.
