Long live this Giants-Mike Francesa war of words.
Pat Shurmur delivered the latest jab Sunday, just days after the Giants killed Shurmur’s 15-minute weekly spot with the WFAN loudmouth in response to Francesa repeatedly attacking the head coach on the air.
That had led Francesa to write on Twitter, “Pat has every right to cancel our weekly spot. But, it leaves very few places where he will be asked a tough question.”
Shurmur teed up his response after the Giants’ thrilling 32-31 win over the Buccaneers.
“By the way,” Shurmur told reporters from the podium, “You guys ask me a lot of hard questions.
