Free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who is reportedly set to visit the New York Giants on Thursday, was removed from a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday morning.
Per Tom Pelissero, Beckham was slipping “in and out of consciousness” before being removed.
“Fearing that Mr. Beckham was seriously ill, and that his condition would worsen through the expected 5 hour flight, the attendants called for police and fire rescue,” police said in a statement. “Upon the officers arrival, the flight crew asked Mr. Beckham several times to exit the aircraft, which he refused.
