Odell Beckham Jr. previously had not been officially listed on the Giants’ injury report, but the star receiver has been nursing a bruised quad for the past two weeks.
Beckham was limited in practice Friday because of the contusion — suffered on the final play against Philadelphia on Nov. 25 — but he’s expected to play Sunday against Washington.
“Just gave him a little time. He’s gonna be fine. He’s playing,” Giants coach Pat Shurmur said. “He’s got a quad bruise that’s been lingering. Remember the last play against Philly? When he got leg-whipped?”
On the final snap in the Giants’ 25-22 loss to the Eagles, Eli Manning completed a pass to Sterling Shepard.
