When the New York Giants traded wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. to the Cleveland Browns this offseason in a surprise blockbuster moves, a huge swath of Giant fans and members of the media were questioning general manager Dave Gettleman’s competency. Not to mention his sanity.
But as grass has grown under this deal thr past few months, fewer and fewer are still questioning. Beckham was an irreplaceable talent for sure, but not an irreplaceable player it seems. The Giants have had a peaceful offseason, devoid of controversy and distractions. Much of that is due to the fact that Beckham is no longer in the building.
