Odell Beckham Jr. is about to get paid.
The Giants superstar is closing in on a five-year extension to make him the highest-paid receiver in the league, according to NFL Network.
Beckham has reportedly been telling those in his inner circle that an agreement is “in place” with only a couple of details to be hammered out before it’s complete.
Rumors cropped up this offseason questioning whether the Giants were actually willing to make Beckham the NFL’s highest-paid wideout. He had been clear in demanding to be paid $20 million annually, or at least $100 million for a five-year deal, while the Giants were believed to view him in the $60 million range.
