On Tuesday, the Giants waived return man Kaelin Clay and linebacker Thurston Armbrister.
In return, they added offensive lineman Jylan Ware to the practice squad.
Ware was a 7th round pick of the Raiders last season, playing in one game as a rookie.
He was cut before the start of the season.
The Giants recently added Stacy Coley and Jawill Davis to their active roster.
So, Clay’s underwhelming production (fumbling to end a Week 1 matchup vs the Jacksonville Jaguars) made him expendable.
