Clayton Thorson suffered a concussion in the NY Giants’ preseason opening loss to the Jets, prior to Brian Lewerke signing on Sunday
The NY Giants Sunday night signed former Michigan State quarterback Brian Lewerke, following a rough outing from backup Clayton Thorson in a 12-7 loss to the Jets.
Lewerke’s signing made more sense, when news of Thorson suffering a concussion during the exhibition opener was reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero on Monday morning.
