NY Giants sign ex-Minnesota Vikings TE to practice squad, release Corey Coleman

The NY Giants released wide receiver Corey Coleman from the practice squad Tuesday, and adding tight end depth in the process.

The NY Giants signed former Minnesota Vikings tight end Nakia Griffin-Stewart to the practice squad Tuesday night, releasing wide receiver Corey Coleman to make room.

Griffin-Stewart, 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds played three seasons at Rutgers before transferring to Pitt in 2019 and catching 32 passes for 282 yards and a pair of touchdowns in 22 career games.
