According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, the NY Giants have promoted linebacker Josiah Tauaefa from the practice squad.
Tauaefa, who signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent after April’s draft, will try to add depth after fellow linebacker Ryan Connelly tore his ACL.
They have also activated wide receiver Golden Tate from suspension.
As a result, both Bennie Fowler and T.J. Jones were released in order to make room for both moves.
Fowler and Jones combined for just 15 receptions this season.
