According to Dan Salomone of Giants.com, the NY Giants have signed linebacker Devante Downs from the practice squad.
To make room for Downs, they have waived tight end Garrett Dickerson.

The team originally signed Downs last month after he was waived by the Minnesota Vikings.
He played in two games for the Vikings this season after being a seventh-round draft choice last season.
