NY Giants: Olivier Vernon ‘Most Likely’ To Be Cut This Offseason

According to Ryan Dunleavy of NJ.com, Giants linebacker Olivier Vernon is “most likely” to be cut this offseason, among some of the team’s veteran defensive players.

The Giants can save money by releasing players like Janoris Jenkins and Alec Ogletree.

But Dunleavy believes Vernon has a higher chance to be let go.

The team can save $11.5 million in cap space by cutting the edge rusher.

And judging by his injury troubles over the last two seasons, you could understand why the team wouldn’t want his $19.
