According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the New England Patriots are expected to release wide receiver Josh Gordon.
Gordon (knee) was placed on Injured Reserve which was expected to end his season.

According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, the NY Giants are expected to make a trade before next week’s deadline.
He doesn’t believe a trade will be made this week due to the proximity of Sunday’s game.
