According to Art Stapleton of The Record, NY Giants tight end Evan Engram is “pretty optimistic” about returning to action in Week 7 vs the Arizona Cardinals.
Engram missed Thursday’s matchup vs the New England Patriots due to an MCL sprain.
But the injury is viewed as not being very serious – he practiced on Monday.
The third-year tight end has been a huge part of the Giants offense this season.
As he’s been targeted 48 times in 5 games.
