According to Art Stapleton of The Record, the NY Giants are one of four teams interested in linebacker Deone Bucannon.
Bucannon was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wednesday after just five games with the team.
The Giants were reportedly close to signing Bucannon this offseason before the Bucs snagged him.
He played under current Giants defensive coordinator James Bettcher with the Arizona Cardinals from 2014-2017.
Bucannon, a former first-round pick, has had his struggles.
As he hasn’t posted a Pro Football Focus grade over 50 since 2016.
