According to Art Stapleton of The Record, the NY Giants have re-signed running back Jon Hilliman.
The Giants waived Hilliman on Friday to make room for Buck Allen but Hilliman cleared waivers.
So, he will be added to the team’s practice squad.
Hilliman has struggled when called upon this season, as he’s averaged 3 yards per carry on 30 carries, twice losing fumbles (one of those as a receiver).
But with Allen on the roster and Saquon Barkley likely back this week vs the Arizona Cardinals, it looks like Hilliman could be a member of the practice squad for the foreseeable future.
