According to Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the NY Giants have signed linebacker Devante Downs to the practice squad.
Downs was recently waived by the Minnesota Vikings after being drafted by the team in the seventh-round last season.
He appeared in two games for the Vikings this season.
On Monday, the Giants placed linebacker Ryan Connelly on Injured Reserve.
Downs adds depth upon potential promotion from the practice squad.
