According to Dan Salomone of Giants.com, the NY Giants have re-signed quarterback Alex Tanney.
To make room for Tanney, the team has waived running back Austin Walter.
On Thursday, the Giants promoted Walter from the practice squad and released Tanney as a result.
But with Saquon Barkley close to a return, Walter’s services are no longer needed as the team’s third-string running back.
