The Eli Manning trade “rumors” are back.
Last season, the idea of trading Manning from the Giants to the Jaguars popped up after the Giants went in the tank.
The rumors also gained steam because of the Tom Coughlin-Giants connection.
Coughlin took over as VP of Football Operations for Jacksonville prior to the 2017 season and loves Manning like a son.
Well, those same rumors are now alive and well once again.
The Jags benched quarterback Blake Bortles on Sunday vs the Houston Texans which prompted everyone from Pro Football Talk to Mike Francesa to discuss a potential Manning-Coughlin reunion.
