Tuesday, the NY Giants claimed former Jacksonville Jaguars RB and Temple alum, Ryquell Armstead off waivers
The NY Giants continue to add to the depth chart behind Saquon Barkley, claiming former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Ryquell Armstead off waivers Tuesday.
Armstead, 24, missed all of last season due to complications from COVID-19, and was waived by the Jaguars on Monday.
In all likelihood, Armstead now has the chance to compete for a roster spot with recently signed running back Corey Clement, behind Barkley and free agent pickup Devontae Booker.
