It's Groundhog Day for the Giants. And that's not a good thing.

For the second straight season, and the fifth time in six years, the Giants opened the season 0-2.

Makes that 2-0 start in 2016 seem like ancient history.

Only 10.9 percent of the 91 teams that started 0-2 from 2007-17 rebounded to make the playoffs, according to OddsShark: The 2017 Saints, 2016 Dolphins, 2015 Texans, 2015 Seahawks, 2014 Colts, 2013 Panthers, 2008 Chargers, 2008 Vikings, 2008 Dolphins and the aforementioned 2007 Giants.

Seven teams have started the 2018 season 0-2: the Giants, Texans, Seahawks, Raiders, Bills, Cardinals and Lions.
