Former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has agreed to terms with the Indianapolis Colts, per multiple reports.
Jones was, for obvious reasons, never an option as a veteran bridge quarterback for the Giants. However, his decision to leave the Minnesota Vikings to compete for a job with the Colts will have an impact on the Giants’ QB situation.
Most notably, it leaves the Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Tennessee Titans in the quarterback market.
The Giants’ free agency spending seems to be positioning them for a potential trade up in the draft for a quarterback.
