NFL concussions up 58 percent

The NFL’s concussion problem isn’t getting better any time soon. A new report states that concussions were up 58 percent in 2015 compared to 2016.

From the New York Daily News:

In data released by the league, the 2015 season (including preseason games) saw 271 reported concussions, up from 206 in 2014.

This year’s figure was the highest total in the four years of data the league provided, and ended a three-year decline in concussions.

According to the report, there were 234 concussions suffered by players during preseason and regular season games.
