New York Giants WR Cody Latimer sits out of practice on Thursday

The New York Giants have yet again received another setback to the receiving corps.

On Thursday, veteran wideout Cody Latimer didn’t participate in the team’s practice. Latimer is currently nursing a calf injury. His status for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills is unclear at the moment.

It’s not the only injury to the Giants receiver room this week. Sterling Shepard, who just signed a four-year, $41 million extension this past offseason, has entered the concussion protocol. He’s also questionable for Sunday’s matchup.

The Giants are additionally without receiver Golden Tate, who’ll be serving the second of his four-game suspension.
